Projects
František Stárek Čuňas Collection
The staff of the samizdat magazine Vokno began experimenting with personal computers as part of their activities in the 80s. The collection contains tapes of Vokno editor Frntišek Stárek featuring programs created by the editorial staff.
Programs from Czechoslovak Television
In the 1980s, Czechoslovak Television broadcast two programs during which software for the ZX Spectrum was distributed. This project contains almost all of these programs.
Jiří Bernášek Collection (BeWeSoft)
Jiří Bernášek is a former game and software developer for eight-bit Atari computers. This collection contains a selection of his archival floppy disks containing programs and source codes for Bernášek's games and other software.
Atari club Citov
Computer club Citov operated from 1986 until the revolution in 1989. This project collects materials related to the activities of the club as well as the activities of its members after the club's disbandment.
Blog
We digitized journals of the Prague Hi-Fi club
Some time ago, we received on loan for digitization the journals of the Prague Hi-Fi club from 1972-1997. Thanks to its focus on consumer electronics, it occasionally contains interesting observations about computing technology, and the club also played a small role in the prehistory of video games in Czechoslovakia. We gave our game magazine database a new look
We improved our game magazine database. The new database naturally has a better and clearer user interface, but most importantly, you can find in it links to magazine scans (both from us and from other sources).Video about our IQ 151 by Andrew Tesla
We recently got our hands on a special piece of the IQ 151 computer, which doesn't have the classic keyboard made from telephone buttons, but features a beautiful mechanical keyboard. This IQ was borrowed by the Andrew Tesla channel, who made a video about this beauty.Support us
